After the Wedding

I watched this film for the first time today. I had never heard of it, or the director, however the lead male is in Casino Royale ;-) It was for my friends research project, had too watch these films and say why liked etc.

Basically

I loved this film!

No seriously! Go watch it now! Right now! Then continue reading, it's brilliant.

Stylistically it may not be the best, it is a very simple sort of movie in its cinematography, but that gives it its grace and just a sense of feminity about it. However the narrative is supurb! I did not expect any of the little twists that presented itself! I was nearly in tears, its just extremely moving!

And guys its not a pure chick flick kinda film, we watched it with my mate Daveh, he liked it XP

The film itself is primarily in Dutch, but also Indian and English :D Don't let all that put you off though, its a sexy film. I really want to rewatch it again right now, but I can't.

For those in the UK, it has to be imported as it is not released in the UK, which fails. So make sure you have multi-region DVD player :D
